Greetings from Stockholm!
Aloha my Dearest friends,
After a long time finally I am back online. It is nice to read all the postings, browse the photo albums, read the comments and of course at times gifting me with some smiles :) Thanks!
Well, lots of things have happened meanwhile, so I will try to go through the most important ones :-)
As you realize from the subject I have moved to Stockholm, 'The Venice of the North', 'Beauty on water' - they say, unfortunately they have forgotten to mention the spices that have been added lately namely 'emigrants' and trouble makers around.
Well, that's about the corner I live, full of them, and some Albanians, too, if you please (Madonna!), 20min away from T-Centralen (by tunnelbana of course, my 'tiger' is still in Uppsala) south of Stockholm. Never mind my complains, the place is nice, after all my tries, I manage to have this cute, little, quite place. And finally I got Internet too, so all set! You are welcome to visit me anytime! As about the quality of hosting I won't compete with Prague, but I will try to range myself along those lines ;)
After hard times of trying to find a place, once found it, and tried to settle, I was looking forward to going to Norway, and that happened on the 11th of August, Zsombor and I flew to Lulea up north of Sweden, and met Tim, who was waiting for us. The joint Albanian-Hungarian forces were ready to hit the longest car trip I had done so far, 2000km about (and I was the passenger :))
We started at Lulea and in 3 days we reached Oslo. This was absolutely fantastic, the nicest of places I have ever seen.
Of course we stopped in may places, and we visited main cities on the way, such as Lulea, Moirana, Krongen,Trondheim, Dombas, Lillehammer, and Oslo.
In Oslo we met Annika, and this was nice. She hosted us for a night, which was very kind of her. From Oslo we took a train to Bergen, and this was just too nice to be true, beautiful fjords, lakes, rivers, waterfalls. Bergen itself was a really nice little town, but had great fjords around. We visited one of them in Flam and that was breathtaking, the best ever bike trip I have ever done. I am sorry using the superlative form, but yes, it was really nice!
Here go two pictures taken in Flam:
Alex you are really lucky to be in Norway! Norway and Norwegians left a better taste than Sweden and Swedish.. hmmm... should I consider a traineeship again... let's see what happens :-)
Coming back to Sweden engaged me in 'playing the tourist in Stockholm' for some days, a friend of mine came to visit me.
Going back and forth to Uppsala is not an option anymore, somehow it's a must, I feel home when I get there!
Well, my holidays are about to finish soon as well (or better say this transition period) so I hope after this I will have some time to travel, too. Tomorrow I will start most probably working on the project and after this I hope time flies.
Ulalala... Long report!
I'll keep you posted,
Huggles Faro
PS. What's happening to others... keep us updated, Noi Noi pictures, you've promised :)
