Italy

Hello my friends
As you all know for couple of weeks I'm tasting the italian way of living (is it La dolce vita or Dolce far niente or both... still tasting I'have not decided yet :)
Since Faro created this blog I thought to give you some inputs on how's going on and now that I have also the pics from my collegues, it's a good moment.
So I'm here for 3 weeks and I'll stay till second of July. 'Stay' is not really the right word since, at least in the weekends I plan to see as much as possible around. By now it was Milano (the first picture is from the top of the Dome, more to see at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/gorgoneal/album?.dir=7d68re2 )
then Genova, on the mediteranean see where I discovered a secret that our dear Farjola was hidding from us for so long - so you have a travel agency and you didn't fix a trip for us yet? hm... nisch nisch -

You were choosing a nice environment for your business anyway, see the details here http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/gorgoneal/album?.dir=12a2re2

As about last weekend, I went to a 'peaceful and quiet' trip to Lago Maggiore ('the big lake' for the non italian speaking people, although I don't think are any around isn't it:) somewhere in the alpes, close to swiss border. It was nice but I don't recomend you to go until you'll be at least 60 years old, you'll still be young compare to the other fellows hanging around the place. As if it wouldn't be enough that the 'good looking' girls were a bit too mature, they were also not single and I lost my voice trying to make some connections with them. And it wasn't because of the fanfare singing to loud, simply because of the boats crossing the lake to the peaceful islands.

What else? 10 euro entrance fee to a palace on Isola Bella was cheap enough for my collegues, not for me, I prefered hanging around with grandmas meanwhile, practicing Shakespeare's soft language, Goethe's less soft one and ... my patience.

As about work, it's voip, but since I'm writing these lines during the working hours you can imagine how busy I am. It's a small company and a big thing for them was that they appeared in the main newspaper 'La Stampa' in an article related to Luciano (Moggi not me:) ) - the football mafia head from Torino.

The company has a software for crypting voice call on mobile, so the article was a suggestion that if Moggi would have been using their service, the big scandal which is in the italian football wouldn't have started.

What else? Pasta every lunch, still the carbonnara I'm cooking has more success among my collegues.

Speaking about lunch, it's time for it, so I'll go now and I'll get back later on. Meanwhile enjoy the photos and I'm waiting for your news and comments.

Ciao,

Luciana

What has happened to others - Zoli you are being quite, I guess should be the wine festival to blame, India - any news? And what about Leni?

I'm still here; without any hangover (this time). I tasted only one wine on the fest on thurstday, but on saturday it was so crowded that we went to an other place and drank beer instead.
Anyway, haven't you invited some other trainees, Faro? At least those ones who spent all of their traieeships whit us (like Susi, Gina, Atza, Pavel)?
